Default Alabama HP SSP question

Is they gray color the stock Ford color from that year (IIRC) or is it a special paint code? It will help in my next choice of projects, thanks!

Yes, Alabama went with the stock Ford color that year called "Smoke" grey.

All of the 1988 Alabama Highway Patrol SSP door tags, buck tags, owner cards, and Marti reports that I have seen so far have a "1K" paint code.

1K = Light Grey

Thanks, they look great! I just found a few original AST Mustang pics while going going through my collection, but they aren't this nice.

I know I am chiming in late but yes the Gray is Smoke Gray, 1K. The Blue is AL DPS's specific color. I have the PPG and DuPont code somewhere.
